ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Penyelenggaraan Program Doktor Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (S3 MPI) Pascasarjana UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim MalangĀ  didasarkan suatu pandangan bahwa pendidikan yang berorientasi masa depan adalah pendidikan yang dalam pelaksanaannya selalu mempertimbangkan perkembangan yang akan terjadi di masa depan, terutama yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan keilmuan dibidang manajemen pendidikan Islam.

UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang memperoleh rekomendasi pembukaan Program Doktor (S-3) Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam dan Program Studi PendidikanĀ  Bahasa Arab, dengan diterbitkannya Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Islam Nomor: DJ/450/2006.

VISION

To become a center of excellence for the development of Islamic Educational Management—grounded in research that integrates Islamic values, science, and technology—characterized by the *Ulul Albab* spirit, internationally renowned, and contributing to the advancement of human civilization.

MISSION

  1. To conduct a doctoral program in Islamic Educational Management based on research that integrates Islamic values, science, and technology, in order to cultivate scholars with the character of *Ulul Albab* who are globally competitive.
  2. Developing original and innovative research that produces evidence-based theories, models, and policy recommendations for Islamic education management (evidence-based policy).
  3. Building a religious, scholarly, and collaborative academic ecosystem through the integration of spiritual values, academic ethics, and technological advancements in higher education management.
  4. Generating scholarly contributions and policy innovations that support the governance of Islamic education—ensuring it is high-quality, equitable, and sustainable—thereby fostering the advancement of human civilization.
  5. Strengthening academic reputation and international networks through reputable publications, global research collaborations, and institutional partnerships in the field of Islamic Educational Management.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To produce Doctors of Islamic Educational Management who possess a profound mastery of theories, methodologies, and cutting-edge paradigms grounded in the integration of Islamic values, science, and technology.
  2. Producing original and innovative scholarly works that enrich the body of knowledge in Islamic Educational Management and provide solutions to educational issues at both national and global levels.
  3. To shape Islamic education leaders and change managers who possess integrity and the *Ulul Albab* character, and who are capable of managing Islamic educational institutions strategically, professionally, and sustainably.
  4. Producing consultants, policy innovators, and education quality supervisors capable of designing, implementing, and evaluating effective, accountable, and evidence-based Islamic education management systems.
  5. Developing research networks and international collaborations to strengthen the academic reputation, global competitiveness, and scholarly contributions of the MPI Doctoral Program to the advancement of human civilization.
  6. Supporting the realization of the vision of the Postgraduate Program and UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang: To become an outstanding and internationally reputed Islamic higher education institution in realizing a society that is harmonious, oriented towards the common good, and intelligent.

Capable of leading the transformation of formal, non-formal, and community-based Islamic educational institutions through an integrative spiritual, intellectual, and managerial approach, while embodying the *Ulul Albab* character and remaining adaptable to global changes.

Capable of designing, implementing, and evaluating quality management systems and Islamic education governance in accordance with national and international standards, based on principles of accountability and good governance.
