The Sharia Economics Doctoral Program (S3) is one of fourteen (14) study programs in the Postgraduate environment. The existence of this study program is a manifestation of the noble ideals of UIN Maliki Malang to participate in building a civilization reflected in the values ​​of nobility, peace and justice within an Islamic and Indonesian framework. Institutionally, the Sharia Economics Doctoral Program is a new study program offered in line with the community's need for academics and practitioners of sharia economics. The Sharia Economics Doctoral Program is organized based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No. 28 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of the Sharia Economics Study Program for the Doctoral Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
To become a center for doctoral education in Islamic Economics that is superior, adaptive, and innovative in realizing Postgraduate Studies as a center of excellence in the development of science and research based on the integration of Islamic values ​​and technology.
Producing scientific works of international repute, enriching the treasury of Islamic knowledge, and playing a role in guiding a new generation of scholars and researchers in the field of Islamic economics.
Producing publications in reputable international journals, and offering innovative solutions to national and global economic challenges.
Implementing sharia principles in business governance, finance, and sustainable development to contribute directly to strengthening the competitiveness of the sharia industry at the national and international levels.
Being a reference in the formulation of fiscal, monetary, social, digitalization, sharia green finance policies, and so on in accordance with his/her field of expertise is recognized as an expert who contributes to global economic development based on Islamic/sharia values.
