The implementation of the Islamic Family Law Doctoral Program (S3 HKI) Postgraduate Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is based on the view that future-oriented education is education that in its implementation always takes into account developments that will occur in the future, especially those related to scientific developments in the field of Islamic Family Law.
The HKI doctoral program has four unique qualities. First, it upholds the spirit and attitude of religious moderation. Second, its research direction focuses on Nusantara Islamic Family Law. Third, the program emphasizes epistemological expertise using a dialectical integrative approach based on Usul Fiqh and Socio-Anthropology. Finally, graduates of this study program become experts in Islamic Family Law with an archipelago perspective.
The realization of a Study Program that is capable of developing and producing new theories in the field of Islamic Family Law in the Indonesian Archipelago
Having the philosophical ability to discover and develop original and tested family law with an inter, multi and transdisciplinary approach that is beneficial to society based on Islamic values, morals, ethics and local Indonesian culture and gaining national and international recognition.
Have the ability to research, both methodologically and substantively, to solve contemporary problems of Islamic family law at the national and international levels.
Having the ability to master the philosophy of family law, develop family law in professional practice and solve family law problems with an inter, multi, transdisciplinary approach and an ulul albab character.
Have the ability to provide policies and strategies in resolving problems of Islamic families in Indonesia.
