ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Master of Islamic Education Management Study Program (S2 MPI) is one of the concentrations of the Islamic Religious Studies Study Program, based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 84 of 1999, concerning the Implementation of the Postgraduate Study Program (S2) at the State Islamic College of Malang.

Subsequently, based on the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Religious Institutions No. DJ.II/55/2005, the Islamic Education Management concentration within the Islamic Studies Program was developed into a separate study program with an M.Pd. degree. To date, it has graduated dozens of students. Most of its alumni are employed or accepted at various research institutions, consultancies, and educational institutions throughout Indonesia.

To become a superior study program in the field of Islamic Education Management (MPI) oriented towards research, innovation, and academic independence.

Graduate Profile

Islamic Education Institution Consultant

Graduates have the competence as consultants in planning, quality development, quality assurance, and governance of Islamic educational institutions, both formal and non-formal.

Islamic Education Manager

Graduates are able to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the implementation of Islamic education at various levels and types of educational institutions effectively, efficiently, and sustainably in accordance with modern management principles and Islamic values.

Educators and Academic Staff

Graduates are able to play a role as educators and academic staff in the field of Islamic education management, as well as integrate management science, pedagogy, and Islamic values ​​in the learning process.
