The Doctoral Program (S3) in Sharia Economics is one of fourteen (14) study programs in the Postgraduate Program. The existence of this study program is a manifestation of the noble ideals of UIN Maliki Malang to participate in building a civilization that is reflected in the values of nobleness, peace and justice in the Islamic and Indonesian frames. Institutionally, the Sharia Economics Doctoral Program is a new study program offered in line with the needs of the community for academics and practitioners of Islamic economics. The Sharia Economics Doctoral Program is held based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No. 28 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of the Sharia Economics Study Program for Doctoral Programs at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

VISION
Developing a scientific philosophy and research in Islamic economics and business based on the integration of science and religion that is credible, proactive, innovative and internationally competitive.
MISSION
- Organizing Tri Dharma activities in the development of scientific philosophy and research in Islamic economics and business.
- Establish cooperation with other institutions to help develop scientific philosophy and research in the field of Islamic economics and business.
- To be a proactive institution in responding to the latest developments in the field of Islamic economics and business, and always strive to create new innovations that can help increase the credibility and competitiveness of the institution.
GOALS
- Producing graduates who have the ability to develop the scientific philosophy of sharia economics and business.
- Producing graduates who have the ability to conduct research in the field of Islamic economics and business.
- To become a leading reference source for research and research related to scientific philosophy and integration-based Islamic economics and business.
