About Postgraduate

UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang —since its STAIN status—opened a Masters (S2) Postgraduate Program, namely the Masters in Islamic Religious Studies in the 1999/2000 academic year. The opening of the program was based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No: 84 of 1999 concerning the Implementation of Postgraduate Study Programs (S-2). In 2005, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang obtained permission to open a Masters (S2) Study Program in Islamic Education Management and Arabic Language Education with the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Religious Institutions Number: DJ.II/55/2005. The Doctoral Program (S3) was opened starting in the 2007-2008 Academic Year after obtaining permission from the Director General of Islamic Education Number: DJ/450/2006. Furthermore, other study programs were also developed to respond to and meet the needs of the community.
